Wall works, designed for installation and created specifically for the Rebirth exhibition, make up the Landing project. They obey the desire to remember the sumptuous Venetian season, when the famous lagoon city was the queen of the main sea routes and an absolute pole of cultural and commercial exchanges. The creations focus on the imprints of ancient pilot books or on their photographic fragments fixed on canvas, combining pictorial and sign interventions with mosaic inserts. In the linear geometries of the mosaic trends, they sometimes recall possible sea routes taken from above. The works are therefore characterized by an artistic totality in which different but interacting lexicons integrate and coexist in perceptive compositional harmony and mutual complementarity.
